“In Nature nothing remains constant. Everything is in a perpetual state of transformation, motion, and change.” – David Bohm (1917-1992)

We have such a longing that this beautiful moment and everything it contains will stay the same. Yet there is the deepest part of us which recognizes the impermanence of it all. The delicate flower fading on the vine and the color-changing leaf gently twisting free from its mother branch reminds us that, no matter our longing, change is happening right before our eyes. Slow motion, yes, but ever moving toward something else—but what is this “something”?

It is renewal of life. In a never ending, infinite circle of energy and beauty, life keeps on inventing itself anew. Beginning and ending, and beginning again. And for the briefest time, we are here to bear witness to the glory contained in the complex simplicity of that energy: the life force which recreates, only to decline and then recede again to wait for an inevitable spring.

See your life with soul eyes! Reconnect and recognize that for the briefest time you are meant to see yourself reflected in this glory we call Nature, and that it is for you to offer your best self to the world as it is in this particular moment of time and transformation.
